BESPOKE SERVICE

Laura Jane and Sebastian specialise in bespoke sculpture commissions and offer this service worldwide.  Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to discuss a custom sculpture.

A brief outline of the process follows below.

SCULPTING
MOULDING
CASTING

Stage 1  We have an initial consultation to discuss and decide on the subject, the size of the piece and the material that it’s to be made from.  We can offer sculptures in Bronze, stainless steel, silver, resin or stone.

We're also able to provide a range of sketches with different options if required.

Stage 2  The original sculpture is created from clay or wax.  This is presented to you for approval, any necessary changes are made at this point of the process.

Stage 3  The order is confirmed when you are happy to sign off the artwork

Stage 4  Next we make a mould of the sculpture.  High quality silicone rubber is used to capture all of the detail, an outer jacket is made from fiberglass to give the mould support.

Stage 5  The final part of the production process; casting in chosen material.  Semi precious casting is completed at specialist casting foundries whom we been working with for many years. Stone and Resin casting is completed ‘in house’ by Sebastian in our Oxfordshire workshop.

Stage 6  Delivery and Installation; we ensure each finished sculpture arrives in perfect condition.

Larger sculptures will be installed to your specification as required.
